RJD Associates (North West) Limited are pleased to announce that we have been called off the ICN framework to provide CDM Principal Designer services on a residential development project for Bolton at Home that involves constructing 44no dwellings in conjunction with all associated enabling, infrastructure and external works. The dwellings will be a mixture of 2B3P, 3B4P and 4B5P houses, 1B2P cottages and a three-storey block of 12no 1B2P apartments. The scope of works includes constructing a vehicular entrance off Avenue Street that will involve demolishing a section of the existing boundary wall, constructing an internal site access road and pedestrian footways, constructing driveways, car parking and associated circulation space, hard and soft landscaping works, constructing foul and surface water drainage systems with connections into adopted sewers, and installing mains services.
Key health and safety considerations on this project include site establishment and associated enabling works, groundworks and earthworks, temporary works, managing potential interfaces with the adjacent land uses, managing potential interfaces with the Client’s undertakings if completed properties are handed over in phases of partial possessions whilst construction works are still ongoing, contact with live services, fire safety including managing any off-site fire risks associated with the use of timber frame construction, general buildability considerations, protecting existing trees and habitat, preventing unauthorised access to the construction site and traffic management.
RJD Associates look forward to working alongside the project team during both the pre-construction and construction phases to ensure a successful delivery of the scheme.
