RJD Associates (North West) Limited are pleased to announce that we have been appointed as CDM Principal Designer on a project that involves refurbishing the Longbridge Deverill Nursing Home in Warminster. The scope of works includes removing and infilling an existing ground floor swimming pool, and refurbishing and remodelling works at ground, first and second floor levels to create 9no additional bedrooms along with increasing balcony heights to first and second floors and nitrate management works. The care home is a modern purpose-built facility that is three storey split level structure with green flat roofs over and floor accommodation at ground, first and second floor levels.
Key health and safety considerations on this project include managing interfaces with the Client’s undertakings during the phased work stages, fire safety, preventing unauthorised access to the construction site, traffic management, temporary works and general buildability considerations.
