RJD Associates have been appointed as CDM Principal Designer on a residential development project in West Kirby that involves constructing 12 apartments in conjunction with all associated enabling, infrastructure and external works.

The initial phase of works will involve site establishment and enabling works including demolishing a vacant dwelling house that is noted as The Grange, along with an outbuilding at the rear of the main house, detached garages and an electric substation, and clearing vegetation.

Key health and safety considerations on this project include site establishment and enabling works including stripping out the existing buildings, preventing unauthorised access to the construction site, demolition works, fire safety, traffic management, temporary works, proximity of site boundaries to adjacent public areas, and buildability considerations including restricted access and working space within the site demise and restrictions due to adjacent structures and land uses.

We’re looking forward to working alongside the project team to ensure a successful delivery of this project.
