RJD Associates (North West) Limited are pleased to announce that we have been appointed as subconsultant CDM Principal Designer during the post-contract stage of a project that involves constructing a warehouse unit with ground floor manufacturing space and office accommodation at first and second floor levels and a showroom at third floor level in conjunction with all associated site establishment, enabling, infrastructure and external works. The unit will have an overall floor area of approximately 17,549m² which includes 12,763m² within main warehouse area at ground floor level, 1,757m² within the ground floor manufacturing space, 2,006m² within the first and second floor offices and 1,023m² within the third floor showroom.

Key health and safety considerations on this project include site establishment and enabling works including removing waste materials and debris, clearing vegetation etc, preventing unauthorised access to the construction site, fire safety, traffic management, temporary works, buildability considerations including restricted access and working space within the site demise and restrictions due to adjacent structures and land uses, and managing potential interfaces with Client fit-out works.
